      Nano-coated Zinc for GANS making

      Hi,

Can I use nano-coated zinc for the plates in gans production? I find copper plates hard to find and expensive and zinc is cheap and I have lots.

If so, what should the NC Zinc look like when it is NCed?

The nano-coated zinc and zinc plates can be used together to make only the zinc gans. The zinc plate may have a dusty white coating when nano-coated. Use a light application of caustic for a shorter amount odf time than with the copper. See KF wikipedia for more details: https://wiki.keshefoundation.org/index.php/KFSSI_WIKI#ZnO_GANS

hi Rick, the link you provided is not active ?

would you let me know the details of how to nano coat zinc plate ? i found no detail information regarding the zinc nano coating.

do we have to let the zinc plate immersed under the solution like we do with copper plates ?

      thank you
