do we have to let the zinc plate immersed under the solution like we do with copper plates ?

Can I use nano-coated zinc for the plates in gans production? I find copper plates hard to find and expensive and zinc is cheap and I have lots.

If so, what should the NC Zinc look like when it is NCed?

Hey Alan, it is just a pvc ball valve found at most hardware stores.  I'm not certain of the size if it is a 1" or 3/4" ball valve.  Hope that helps. Dr Keith
